Wilderness Trek Meeting

Wilderness Trek meeting Sunday night (July 23), 6 PM, at Mike and Jeannie Cagle’s (23 Kanis Creek Place). Please bring 1) Wilderness Trek form; 2) white water rafting release form. Both should be completed. Contact Chad for more details. Here’s a map to their home.

Refuge

Refuge this Wednesday night, 7-8:30 PM in the Nichols Building. Ice cream, games, and short devotional. Friends are invited! If you’re in town, join us.

 Parent/Teen Refuge

Refuge for parents and teens Wednesday, August 4, 7-8:30 PM. Nichols Building. Coffee, tea, desserts will be served. We will share summer highlights, go over school-year plans, introduce Wednesday night small group leaders and confirm contact information, etc.

Magic Springs

Christian bands Kutless and Thousand Foot Krutch are in concert at Magic Springs Sunday, August 15. You can find out more about Magic Springs at www.magicsprings.com. Tickets are $28 for groups of 15 or more.  Parents, teens, famlies — everyone is invited. Children not in grades 7-12 must be accompanied by a parent. The church van will be reserved for teens who need rides. Students who help with the Dodd back-to-school bash will receive $10 off their ticket. Tickets must be purchased by August 1. Sign up by paying me $28 by Sunday, August 1.

Back-to-School Bash

LRC Student ministry is helping with the back-to-school bash at David O’Dodd Elementary August 14 from 10 AM-1 PM. We need at least 10 students and parents to help. Specifically, our students are face painting and watching the inflatables.  Those who help will receive $10 off Magic Springs tickets the next day.
