Saturday, October 2, from 10 AM-2 PM at War Memorial Stadium, CityFest is hosting a resource drive as part of ONE Event. This resource drive provides items to organizations like the Crisis Pregnancy Center of Central Arkansas, Recycle Bikes of Kids, Rice Depot, Youth Home, and other helping agencies. Individuals and groups will drive through a designated area of the AT&T parking lot at War Memorial Stadium to donate items. A team of volunteers will be there to receive and sort items.

Little Rock Church is helping with this effort. You can help in one or more of the following ways:

1. Begin collecting items to donate. Items being collecting included:

• gently used clothing (especially jeans and coats),
• bicycles
• art supplies
• diapers
• toilet paper and paper towels
• travel sized personal items(shampoo, soap, toothpaste, lotion, hand-sanitizer)
• canned meat
• rice/pasta/beans (canned or
  boxed)

Bring these items to LRC by Wednesday, October 1. There will be a collection box in the Nichols Building. If you have bicycles to donate, take them to the festival. We won’t have a way to deliver them from the building. In fact, it would be awesome to take your collected items to the festival.

2. Volunteer to help collect and sort items from 9 AM-3PM! Email me at chad@littlerockchurch.org by the end of the day Thursday and let me know when you can help and what shirt size. You’ll check in at the volunteer tent in the parking lot, receive a t-shirt and be directed to the resource drop-off location.

This is a great way to serve as a family! Sign up the entire family to help for 2, 3 or even 4 hours! This is our main involvement in CityFest as a church family.
