Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Everyone is invited to watch Voyage of the Dawn Treader this Sunday, December 19, at the Rave. Movie time is 3:50 PM. Meet in the lobby at 3:30 PM.

Refuge

There will be no Refuge the next 3 Wednesday nights. Refuge will resume January 12.

Year’s End Party

We’re celebrating the end of the year with students from Crosswalk, Chenal Valley, University and National Park churches Wednesday, December 29, 7-11:30 PM. Drop off/pick up your teen at Crosswalk Family of God (10600 Colonel Glenn Dr, Little Rock). Our teens are asked to bring 2 bags of chips. Friends don’t need to bring anything.

Parent/Teen Lunch meeting

We are having a parent/teen lunch meeting Sunday, January 16, immediately following the worship assembly. It will be a potluck lunch. Angie King is coordinating food so please contact her to find out what to bring.  We’ll update contact and other information, discuss winter/spring activities and curriculum, go over summer plans and discuss fund raising ideas for our mission trips. You’ll receive a proposed calendar, so that you can be ready to sign up for different things to help with.

Winter Retreat

Winter Retreat is only 5 weeks away! The weekend is an important weekend retreat just for our teens. It’s extended time away to connect with one another and grow in our relationships with each other while considering how God might use us in 2011. The retreat is at Mt. Eagle Retreat Center near Clinton. Cost is $60. Students need to bring Bibles, clothes for cold weather, flashlight, toiletries, sheets, blankets, pillows, towel. You sign up by paying for your teen. Sign ups begin January 2. Please let me know if you have any questions.
