Dear Church Family,
Summer is just around the corner and we have several important items to share about our Sunday morning time.
SUMMER SUNDAY SCHEDULE CHANGES
9 AM Worship Assembly
- Preaching will be replaced with a devotional time around communion led by elders
- No Children’s Church
- Worship Assembly schedule will be from 9-9:50 AM
- Short break between assemblies
- This schedule is for the summer only. We will return to a normal schedule in late August.
10 AM Classes/Teaching Assembly
- No changes to Preschool Children’s Classes
- K – 6 Children’s Classes in Youth Ministry Room for Summer on the Rock Program
Krissi needs extra help during the summer. If you can help, contact her at
Krissi@littlerockchurch.org
- 7 – 12 grades in auditorium with adults (If you do not want your teen to be a part of the teaching series, please see Chad.)
- All adults meet in the auditorium for the Summer Teaching Series
Please Note:
- Worship Assembly will be shorter (9-9:50 AM)
- Summer on the Rock will have a similar format to the last few summers and will meet in the Youth Ministry Room in the Nichols Building.
- Chad, Lynn and our shepherds believe it’s important for parents and 7-12th graders to be a part of this series together because it provides opportunities for parents to engage children in conversations. The student ministry will provide resources such as website links, articles, books and more for families to encourage discussion about these topics when appropriate.
- We are asking for your input on topics for the study. Please send your questions and suggested topics to lynn@littlerockchurch.org or text to 501.529.9138.
