If you join us for iServe this Saturday, October 22, you are likely to meet Mr. Templeton, a retired attorney who lives in the Geyer Spring neighborhood. A lifelong resident of this neighborhood, he’s active in his church serving in the food pantry. He also spends much of his time in Benny Craig Park enjoying daily walks. He organizes a small group of volunteers, mostly elderly, to walk and pick up litter in the park. That small group also maintains two small flower beds at the park’s entrance.
This Saturday, we have the opportunity to encourage Mr. Templeton and others who live in, and care for, this neighborhood and park. It’s a terrific way to show others we care! Join us this Saturday. It’s not too late to sign up. Contact Chad Nall (chad@littlerockchurch.org) to find out how to sign up. If you can’t be a part of the work day support us by providing tools and contributing financially.
