Dear Little Rock Church Family, I want to share with you about a couple areas of our life together. Summer on the Rock “Life is Good.”:   I hope you are enjoying the summer theme!  It has gone by so fast.  I am so thankful to all the people that made Summer on the Rock a big success again this year.  We still have five weeks left so much more fun ahead!  Please continue to bring your kids to the gym at 9 AM for a great experience. What good is it if we say that we have faith in Jesus Christ and do not see the needs of others?  In our busy world and our personal struggles we can be overwhelmed by “our stuff” and not have time to stop and look at others.  The exciting part of walking with Christ is when we are filled with His love and our eyes begin to look at others in a different way; a loving way. One of the ways we are “living our faith” is by being partners in education with David O. Dodd Elementary.  Our partnership with them began in 2009.  In 2010 we are joining hands with them to help little children whose parents don’t have the resources to get them the school supplies and uniforms they need for school.  LRC [...]

We are so excited to unveil the NEW LRC WEBSITE!  We are thankful for the services of Casey Picker (LRC Member) and Zach Cheatham with Lamplight Media.  They were great to work with!  Tom King has served for  many years by maintaining our church website and Tom will continue in this very important role.  We hope the site is easy to use and we will work hard to keep the content up to date.  The website is a great resource for guests who are looking for a church home in the Little Rock area.  Also, the website is a great place for our members to find current information about schedules, meetings, and contact information.  The member area of the website has not changed.  You will be able to connect to an updated member directory.  The website is also a [...]
