Over the last two years over 100 churches and thousands of volunteers have collected nearly a half of a million dollars for some of Arkansas most significant nonprofit organizations, constructing two habitat for humanity homes, investing an additional $400,000 in renovating 22 public schools, collecting over 40,000 meals for the hungry, gathering nearly 4,000 coats and 7,000 toys for children. Over 2,000 units of blood were received for the Red Cross, and almost 2,000 potential organ donors were registered. | |
