Whenever approaching something unfamiliar or new, I typically look for instructions to guide me so I won’t waste time trying to figure it out on my own. Did you know that Jesus gave an instruction manual to his followers on how to be disciples? In his first private teaching session, Jesus used eight succinct sentences, ninety-six simple words to draw a picture of what He required in a disciple:  The Beatitudes.
