Faith Decisions
What is Faith Decisions?
Every other year LRC Student Ministry offers an experience called Faith Decisions for 7/8th graders and their parents. Topics covered include truth, salvation, grace, sin, community, mission. Time together includes teaching time for the whole family, separate discussion times for parents and teens, and a family experience. The series concludes with a special night of blessing.
Faith Decisions is an excellent opportunity for junior high students to reconnect or deepen their relationships with the single-most powerful influence in their lives — their parents. It’s an opportunity for parents to encourage and bless their child as they transition through adolescence into adulthood. Finally, it provides an opportunity for families to connect with others in our faith community.
We know that “family” looks different to everyone so we invite parents, step-parents, grandparents, single parents, or guardians to join their 7/8th grader for this experience.
Our prayer is that students will develop a deeper love and commitment to following Jesus and that families will be drawn closer together through this experience.
Faith Decisions will take place Sunday nights January 15 – February 12 in the Teen Room of the Nichols Building on the Little Rock Church campus.
