Food for the Hungry
Since 1989 Little Rock Church has provided food to families in need. Funding and supplies are provided through donations from members of Little Rock Church and community partners. Food is purchased in bulk from the Arkansas Food Bank and the Arkansas Rice Depot. Each fall members of Little Rock Church conduct a special drive to collect nearly 40,000 canned goods.
Home Away from Home
Home Away From Home is a hospitality ministry that provides short-term housing to cancer patients and their caregivers while they undergo treatment in Little Rock. Most guests are receiving bone-marrow transplants or other cancer treatments at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS, but the apartments are open to anyone coming to Little Rock for medical treatment.
Little Rock Church believes that Orphan Care is a calling for all believers. Hope’s Embrace seeks to equip and encourage those who are serving the fatherless through adoption, foster care, or orphan care and to call the body to further serve orphaned and vulnerable children.
